About The project
The ‘Water Matters’ project addresses the critical need for environmental conservation by empowering youth workers.
Water Matters is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to address environmental challenges, with a special focus on water sustainability, pollution prevention, and community engagement.
The project brings together 30 youth workers from 6 countries for a 7‑day training course in Stuttgart, Germany, combining workshops, field visits, cultural exchange, and hands-on learning.
Objectives
Build Youth Worker Capacity:
Equip youth workers with practical tools for environmental education and sustainable water management.
Increase Youth Awareness:
Support youth workers in engaging young people in water sustainability and environmental protection.
Develop Community-Based Projects:
Enable participants to design and implement local initiatives addressing water-related challenges.
Strengthen Partnerships:
Foster long-term collaboration among youth workers, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
Participants
The training course is designed for motivated youth workers who are actively engaged in supporting young people and contributing to their communities. Participants are expected to bring diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds, enriching the learning environment through intercultural exchange. The project seeks individuals who are open‑minded, eager to learn, and committed to applying the knowledge gained to real-life environmental challenges in their local contexts.
TRAVEL EXPENSES & REIMBURSEMENTS
Travel costs will be reimbursed within the limits set by Erasmus+. All reimbursements will be made after the project, upon presentation of:
- Original invoices
- Boarding passes
- The participant’s final report
