Description
Youth-Win Challenge is a 10-day training course for youth leaders, trainers, community builders and youth activists working for a sustainable lifestyle. It opens a new dimension for youth work, based on a specific methodology called Dragon Dreaming.
The formation has deep experiential dimensions, a part is centered on the knowledge and the understanding of this method and the second part is centered on the overcoming of blockages in a real project. The training is organized by the FNAFA, The place offers the experience of a deeper personal and social interaction and a feeling of belonging to the community in an urban environment. 30 participants from 08 European countries will learn and use this methodology combining project management, an inclusive, participatory and non-hierarchical approach.
In addition, Dragon Dreaming (DD) is not only a methodology, but also a philosophy, a changing approach to our activities / projects on win-win-win games. The first victory is for each participant, the second for the community and the last victory belongs to the Earth, with a focus on the sustainability of the environment. With this unique philosophy, DD offers a new perspective on the development of projects, companies and aspires to create a new paradigm for the 21st century. The project will be led by a team experienced in methodology and with a good knowledge of project management systems.
Objectives
Our aim is the implementation of the European HDD in youth by educating the group of trained youth workers and thereby meeting the needs of young Europeans in a more sustainable and participatory society offering better employability opportunities.
• Develop the skills and knowledge needed to organize effective work and training activities with a
particular focus on the Dragon Dreaming project methodology.
• Develop skills and acquire knowledge on a particular topic: overcome blockages in projects, allowing participants to analyze and solve potential problems in real projects
• Experiment and understand the negative aspects of win-lose common games and the win-win-win
approach
• Train the group of Dragon Dream trained youth workers for the subsequent implementation of this
methodology in European youth work.
• Create a social experience of the community by sharing living and working spaces, participating
in common tasks and everyday practices, and making it an opportunity for learning and personal
and social development.
